Clark Wright (Co-Director, Producer)
The stage is set for verse, but song breaks forth.
For thirty years he walked the boards of plays,
Where Shakespeare's words rang out with weight and worth,
And kings and lovers filled his crafted days.
But music called, as music always will,
To one who knows the rhythm of a line,
Who finds in rest and breath the actor's skill,
And hears the human heart in each design.
Now opera's world receives this seasoned hand,
Where word and note together make their stand.
Alan Yost (Conductor)
Alan Yost, whose face we are contractually forbidden to show in a program, is an international man of mystery. It is alleged that he has been conducting orchestras around Boston since before the arrival of the Pilgrims. But without photographic evidence, we will never know.
