Romeo and Juliet Gala

For the past two years the Opera51 Gala has given patrons of the arts in Concord a wonderful evening of song and entertainment while providing vital funds for The Performing Arts Center at 51 Walden.

Once again this year’s event will be held at the home of Guido Tamburini and Janet Casey, 326 Mattison Drive, Concord, MA.

The evening begins at 7 PM and will feature:

An hour of jazz by celebrated pianist and Berklee professor Steve Heck
A pre-opera talk by Special Guest Erik Johnson, who has been manager of Boston Lyric Opera and is now manager of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus
Solo performances of select arias by members of the cast of this year’s opera, Gounod’s Romeo and Juliet
An aria auction - buy your favorite from one of the cast
A silent auction
and of course delicious refreshments and great conversation!

There will also be opportunities for YOU to sing an aria accompanied by our esteemed pianist!
